Spartan Offshore completed operations for Walter O&G in Eugene Island Block 224 and the Spartan 208 (225'-MS) has just moved to West Cameron Block 498 to begin a 25-day workover for Energy XXI. The work should keep the rig busy to around mid-October.

Wellesley Petroleum has completed drilling operations at the 33/9-22 exploration well, targeting the Goanna prospect. The well, which was drilled using Odfjell MDW semi Deepsea Bergen (1,476'), was drilled to a total depth of 8,957' and encountered approximately 161' of gross water bearing reservoir in the primary target. The well is now being plugged and abandoned as planned. The rig has follow-up work scheduled with Centrica, OMV and Statoil and is firmly contracted to November 2018, but could be working up to a year longer if all options are exercised.

Odfjlell MDW semi Deepsea Bergen (1,476') has moved into Averoy, Norway, where it will remain idle for the next two months. The rig recently completed a contract with Wellesley Petroleum, where it undertook an exploration campaign offshore Norway. The unit will now be ready stacked and maintained until its next commitment with OMV begins in the Norwegian sector. In addition to this upcoming campaign, the rig also has work with Statoil and is firmly committed until around late 2018, with further options outstanding.
