We are currently seeking a Sr. HSE Representative- Midstream Construction with extensive HSE experience for a prominent exploration and production company with Operations based in the Kermit, TX area.



The Sr. HSE Representative will be responsible for the management/coordination of Health & Safety activities associated with the clients Midstream construction in West Texas.


- Working with and assist Contract HSE Representatives to provide HSE support on construction projects

- Ensuring HSE expectations for projects are communicated to contractors and are periodically assessed against these expectation

- Assisting with incident reporting and investigation

- Assisting the Corporate Process Safety team with implementation and monitoring of continuous improvement efforts regarding process safety

- Conducting periodic site assessments/hazard hunts and communicate findings to plant leadership

- Assisting with Midstream Construction safety meetings

- Verifying accuracy and effectiveness of JSAs relevant to planned work activities

- Participating on the clients Incident Management Team for Emergency Response

- Practicing the clients Core Values such as: Integrity and Trust, Servant Leadership, People and Passion, Commercial Focus


The Sr. HSE Representative will also be responsible for partnering with Construction and Engineering teams to provide safety support including:

- Actively participating in Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)

- Participating in Management of Change (MOC) processes

- Participating in PHA's to ensure hazards are identified and mitigation measures are implemented

- Supporting the Construction team with safe work practices including Lockout/Tagout, Hot Work and other HSE programs



- Bachelor degree required; Science, Engineering, or industry related field preferred

- 8 years of HSE experience

- Valid driver's license with no restriction that would prohibit driving a company vehicle

- Broader knowledge and understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental, procedures, and regulations as they apply to pipeline and facilities construction

- Knowledge and experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) and with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA)

- Experience in incident investigations techniques and root cause analysis

- Proficient technical and computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite
