The Field Analyst will work independently on a verity of complex system functions, on multiple requests simultaneously for various departments, and at a high level of quality in a timely manner. The Field Analyst will demonstrate a high level of expertise in overall systems, including work process flow, database structures, data integrity and consistency. They will also be knowledgeable about the FBP Materials business in general and will become knowledgeable about the detail workings and requirements of assigned tasks. This position is located in Anadarko's Delaware Basin as a member of the Field Business Process (FBP) Team in Kermit, TX.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following minimum qualifications
Minimum 2 years' experience with material handling with 1-year experience in oil & gas.
Applies independent judgment to implement practical applications of education.
Excellent written and communication skills
Experience in the use of computers and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required
Ability to handle confidential and proprietary company data and information
Understanding of SAP required
Strong interpersonal skills, having the ability to work across departmental boundaries with individuals of diverse competencies and level of authority
Monitors data transfer and collects data for missing information.
Documents allocation records and keeps track of materials and/or reserves.
Prepares systems for adjustments or upgrades.
Assists with testing of new equipment and installed programs.
Tracks inventory of materials and equipment.
Understands fundamentals and principles of own discipline function.
Performs assignments with occasional guidance from more experienced staff.
Completes assignments set by management within business unit.
Understands and applies all company environmental, health and safety policies and principles.
Implements value and quality in work assignments.
Provide financial support through accurate data entries using SAP financial software and general account structure
Follow all company procedures and established guidelines
Maintain compliance with proper regulatory and guidelines SOX, COPAS etc.
Develops working knowledge of organization functions, roles and responsibilities.
Analyzes business drivers, performance measures, and financial indicators
Actively seeks guidance, as necessary, from more experienced staff.
Analyzes and solves problems identified by others.
Exhibits capability of identifying & solving problems under own direction (self-motivated).
Develops short-term action plans for accomplishing work.
Able to prepare and present the results of research and analysis, verbally and in writing.
Seeks and accepts guidance from others and asks questions to ensure understanding of projects
Self-starter, with the ability to work with minimum supervision within a collective group to support project requirements.
Contributes to team initiatives.
High School Diploma or equivalent
This position may be eligible for domestic relocation.
Valid driver's license with no restrictions that would prohibit driving a company vehicle.
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0-25%
This position is eligible for the 5/40 work schedule.
Candidate must live within 75-miles of Kermit, TX.
