Mariner is part of Equinor's broad range of activities in the UK. We also operate offshore wind farms which provide power to around 650,000 homes and we supply around 20% of the UK's natural gas.
The Mariner Field is one of the largest capital commitments to the UK Continental Shelf in more than a decade and one of Equinor's most innovative developments. Mariner is operated from Aberdeen, the headquarters of UK and Ireland Offshore (UKI). Production is expected to commence in first half of 2019.

Contract responsible for Equinor operational warehouse based in Peterhead
Ensure seamless transition of spares/materials from project to operations
Ensure effective and efficient operations supporting Mariner, Hywind and future UKCS offshore assets
Lead and drive Lean at the warehouse
Support successful implementation of Equinor UK Track & Trace project in close collaboration with suppliers
Contract responsible for the Freight Forwarding contract and follow up of transport requirements, Imports, Exports and the customs clearance of Equinor goods
Maintain the Equinor UK AEO (Authorised Economic Operator) status
Lead and participate in quarterly review meetings in collaboration with Equinor taxation department
Assurance program and activities (audit, verification, self-assessments)
Contract responsible for the Logistics IT tool (Wels) contract
Contract responsible for the ad-hoc Warehouse, Supply Base contract
Point of contact in relation to ad-hoc activities for Supply base operations and warehouse services
Cost control and follow-up
Additional tasks include:
Continuous improvement and contribute to Lean projects
Continuous stakeholder engagement with internal and external partners
Request Master Data creation for Mariner critical spares
Vacation cover for key roles such as logistics supply supervisor and the marine supervisor
When required, support logistics coordinator and drilling supply responsible (Drilling Material Coordinator) in coordination of logistics needs from offshore installations
Prioritisation, communication, and coordination of Operations, and Project requirements and needs
Applicant must have background from supply chain management within an operating and/or service-based industry, not limited to oil and gas industry.
Applicant must have a thorough understanding, knowledge and experience within warehouse operations and/or freight forwarding.
Proven Specification Writing/Management skills.
Experience in contract management beneficial.
Competent IT user.
Applicant should have a thorough working knowledge of relevant Regulatory legislation.
Experience with Lean preferable.
Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications.
